An obsessive attempt to document results of NTSC formatted VHS and laserdisc releases that contain "coming attractions"
(i.e. trailers, teasers, TV spots, video spots, promos) which may or may not prove significant.
Basically, an effort to create a "trailer search" resource.

** Rarity as this is the Cannon release trailer.  Initially a Cannon film and the earmarks are clearly evident - clips from two Cannon-released Van Damme films (BLOODSPORT and KICKBOXER) are featured along with Henry Mancini's LIFEFORCE theme.  For reasons unknown, MGM/UA assumed ownership and distribution shortly before the film's theatrical release.  The trailer remained the same with the exception of the added MGM/UA logo and copyright info at the end changing from Cannon Pictures to Pathe Communications. Also can be found on respective laserdisc release.

Movie + trailer matches in this listing:
AMERICAN CYBORG, STEEL WARRIOR
HELLBOUND
STREET KNIGHT
TO THE DEATH

I think it was most likely Cannon's bankruptcy that caused them to sell the rights to Death Warrant to MGM. Interestingly enough, Cannon still held onto some foreign rights, as evidenced on the film's Australian VHS release along with some international trailers.
